I don't know what it is about the winter, but as soon as we have snow, I want to turn on the oven. For dinner, I usually fix spicy things and then want to offset it with something sweet. Lately, I have been in the mood for fruit pies and various apple treats. As usual, I get much of my inspiration not only from Pinterest, but looking at some of the amazing food blogs out there. The only bummer about finding amazing recipes when you are in a baking mood is finding out you don't have everything you need for the recipe on hand (story of my life).
