My kindergarten teacher inspired, and still inspires, me to be the best person I can be! 20 years later and I still can go to her for advice, or even just a boost, if I need to.

My son had a math teacher in middle school who changed his life. He thought my son was gifted in math (he is) and put him on a track to take accelerated classes at the high school and got him into an academic achievement program. It made my son feel so confident and gave him a lot of hope and motivation.

My most inspirational teacher was my high school science and math teacher, Mr. Snyder. His biggest lesson to me was to never sell myself short, that it’s OK to be different, and to never quit trying…..lessons not found in text books or technical diagrams!

In middle school, I was having an awful time with pre-algebra; the only one in the class who wasn’t getting it. Mrs. Harris took the time to help me understand it. And didn’t make me feel bad for having troubles with it.
