I haven’t owned anything that strange, a guinea pig? My dad, however, had a pet skunk!

I had hermit crabs! They weren’t that weird but they were interesting. They loved changing shells often.

I haven’t owned any strange pets, but I’ve had some pets that were strange. Gertie was a calico that didn’t do any of the typical cat things. She wouldn’t play with toys, climb anything, she didn’t even meow like other cats. Later we found out the family she came from had exactly one other animal, a pot-bellied pig. We believe she thought she was a pig!

I owned a raccoon once. Her name was Bachunski. When she got to old, and I couldn’t handle her, I gave her to a wildlife reserve. She fit right in. I found her as a baby, and was her mother for several months.

I don’t know about strange but we’ve owned hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and ducks.

We’ve had iguanas, koi, frogs, turtles, dogs, cats and even a few birds. Nothing really strangely exotic or anything, but our current dog is “strange.” She only runs in a crouched position and likes to slide on the throw rugs when she gets in her “I’m gonna run around to show I’m excited” moods. She insists on being carried outside like a baby for her last trip out before bed (and she weighs 50 lbs.), and refuses to eat anything that we humans haven’t actually touched with our hands. Yup… she’s STRANGE, but we love her to death. LOL
