We are staying at home for Christmas this year. We all traveled and got together for Thanksgiving, so we could stay at home for Christmas. We still have our yearly tradition of Christmas eve dinner with my husband’s brothers.

Our Christmas plans have gone a little off the rails this year. We’re just trying to catch up on our bills and probably can’t afford to visit my husband’s family as planned. I guess the plan is to just enjoy it like any other day.

I’m so excited! Every year we have a huge sleepover with my whole family! It is crazy, but so much fun. I am so thankful and blessed to have such a great family. I will miss my daughter and granddaughter this year though. This is their first Christmas away from home. They moved to Alaska back in June, so I will be thinking of them for sure! God bless and Happy Holidays to everyone!

Every year we bake cookies for Santa with my son and then we watch a movie and drink hot cocoa. Oh, and we always allow my son to have one gift on Christmas Eve.
