The plan right now is for me to cook Thanksgiving for my parents and me in my new apartment. Scary, cuz, I’ve never cooked a big meal before. Hopefully my mom will help me get everything done at the same time.

My large family goes to my aunts house here in the small town that most of us still live or live nearby. It’s usually a lot of fun.

The first event I will attend is a praise and pie service at my Church Tuesday evening. It is a great time to come together and share all what we are thankful for. I will be spending time with all of my family Wednesday night and the day of Thanksgiving.

We are going to have a small Thanksgiving with my family of four. We just moved to austin, TX and aren’t close to family so we will enjoy celebrating my son’s first Thanksgiving in Texas.

This year, like every year, the whole extended family dinner where everybody brings a part of it with them…the best of their best…so always a great meal.
