Addiction Food

Do you struggle to find healthy, all natural dog food for your dogs? One of the things we have noticed with all of our malamutes is that they very quickly get sick of one type of food. To keep things interesting, we try having a variety of different foods and brands in Ivi and Rylie’s normal rotation. Finding natural foods that meet our standards, however, is sometimes challenging, especially when you add in Ivi’s turkey allergy. While we were at BlogPaws in June, however, we were introduced to a pet company that seemed great for our girls – Addiction Foods. After learning a bit more about their food at the booth, they asked if they could send some complimentary food for the girls to taste test. After seeing some of their awesome proteins, we couldn’t wait for their box of yummy foods to arrive!

Addiction Foods: What is It?

Looking for an awesome, all natural pet food made with no artificial preservatives or addictive? If so, we think you will love Addiction Foods! This line of ultra-premium dog food contains no by-products, fillers, or preservatives, and is sourced from premium proteins that are great for even pets with sensitive tummies. Addiction Foods was founded by a leading holistic Veterinarian and Clinical Nutritionist who saw thousands of disease-stricken cats and dogs who were plagued with skin and gastrointestinal issues caused by allergies. As a result of 20 years of research, they created a food that isn’t just award winning, but unlike anything else in the market. Not only is it healthy, but pets love and crave their line of foods, making pets, pet parents, and veterinarians happy! As well, all of their food is made in New Zealand! Addiction Foods: Our Thoughts

I have to admit, when our girls’ food arrived, I couldn’t wait for them to try it. Ivi especially has always been a big fan of dehydrated food and I knew she would love the chance to try unique proteins like Kangaroo and Brushtail.  I have to say the girls both went absolutely crazy over this food. I can’t remember the last time my girls were fighting to get to their food and being protective over food with each other because they wanted to savor every bite. What I loved was the versatility of this food since it can be served wet, dry, or even mixed in kibble. Since my girls love wet dehydrated food, I went that route with them. It was also very easy to hydrate and no waiting a half hour or more for the food. All we had to do was add water, stir, and get it to a consistency the girls would love. Honestly, I can’t wait to try more of their awesome food with the great experience the girls had with Addiction Food. Based on our own experience, we are delighted to give Addiction Foods an A rating!

I am super happy that your dogs enjoyed this but not trying to sound negative but are you suppose to add water or something to this food, or is it made just like this, Looks kind of like a powder is why I am asking.. never seen food this way..

Dotty, the powder is the food without water. All the pictures are of the same food. I took pictures of it both ways since it can be added dry to kibble or add water to make it a wet food. Dehydrated food is becoming very common and a great way to give your dog less processed food without the mess. 🙂

Kangaroo?! Sounds like gourmet for dogs! I’m sure my pups would love this. I hope it is economical.

I’m always looking for natural foods for my babies. I don’t know how I feel about feeding them Kangaroo though. That’s definitely new to me.
