Like many other women, I try to take a calcium supplement daily. I know it is important for my long term health, especially if I don’t want to develop osteoporosis later in life. The biggest issue I have, however, is remembering to take it, especially since many of the supplements on the market taste terrible or make me sick to my stomach. When Buddha’s herb asked me to review their own supplement, I was curious to try it, especially with the wonderful experience I had had with their other products.

Buddha’s Herb Calcium Citrate Supplement: Overall

Over the years, I have taken quite a few calcium supplements. Many of them leave a nasty taste in your mouth or upset your stomach. Luckily, Buddha’s Herb calcium supplement is tasteless, easy to take, and appears to be of high quality. Best of all, it is fairly inexpensive, making it a great choice for just about every woman. What really impressed me, however, is that it has an ample amount of vitamin D3 and K1 as well, making it a great choice since both of these vitamins help with calcium absorption – leading to stronger bones. Based on my own experience with this supplement, I am happy to give it an A rating!

Shopping for vitamin and supplements is often overwhelming and confusing. There are several types of calcium and hard to choose. I like the added vitamins and ability to take without food.
