I don’t have any. I did not get along with my dad very well at all and spent a lot of my time staying out of his way when I could. The best memory would be any that didn’t involve him at the time.

it’s difficult to choose just one…I think the best ones would be on holiday camping in Wiltshire and sharing a few drams of malt at the lakeside

My father was evil. I don’t have happy memories of him. I wish there was a day devoted to bad fathers we could celebrate.

When I was a child we usually camped Father’s Day weekend. There was nothing better than spending time fishing with my dad. I loved it, still do.

I feel the exact same way as Renee. I didn’t get along with my father either. I also tried to avoid him as he usually treated me pretty badly, so I don’t have any good memories about Father’s Day.

I do wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the other great dads and stepdads out there (and the single moms who are both mom and dad to their kids!)

We always tried to make his day special. I remember one year my brother, sister and i thought a flannel shirt (my dad wore them all the time) would be a great fathers day gift. Not sure its what he really wanted, but when he opened it he acted like it was the best shirt in the whole world. We were all so proud of ourselves. Even on a day to celebrate himself, he was always thinking of his children.

I went to a church camp that started each year on Father’s Day so we’d get up early and drive the trip to go to church in the town where the camp was and then eat at a little restaurant that had table jukeboxes before checking into camp.

Luckily we had taken a few pictures at the Father’s Day BBQ, and the pictures are a nice way to remember that special day.
