Do you know why I slip

Do you have a senior dog in your home? How about one struggling with arthritis or special needs? While Reya and Ivi are young, my family dealt with the struggles of senior dogs while I was growing up. None of us like to see our babies age, especially when they start struggling with mobility and joint issues. Families with dogs with arthritis or hip dysplasia know this all too well, especially when they see their dogs slipping and sliding on hardwood or linoleum floors. Even if you put down rugs and special beds to help them, dogs often seem to prefer laying on cold, hard floors. While this isn’t a problem for many younger dogs, senior dogs can quickly find themselves trapped and unable to get up without assistance. For dog owners, this can be heartbreaking, especially when we know our dogs want their independence. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could give our senior dogs back some of their mobility?

Luckily, we recently discovered the perfect solution – Dr. Buzby’s ToeGrips. These specially designed rubber rings go over your dog’s nails, allowing them to once again use their paws with traction. You see, a dog’s natural mechanism for gaining traction on a slippery surface is to flex their paws and engage their nails. In the wild or outside, your dog’s claws act more like cleats on shoes, allowing them to have extra traction to avoid injury or slipping on slippery, smooth, or wet surfaces. As our furry friends get older, senior dogs and dogs with arthritis struggle due to muscular weakness, joint disease, and slower reflexes, ending with them slipping or unable to get up from slippery floors. With ToeGrips, they can once again have the traction they need to move about freely on hardwood floors – or any smooth, slippery surface.

I have a 13 y/o pointer who is falling, tripping, and can’t get up 3 steps without help. It’s like the sticky has worn away on her paws. This would be great to have for her.

My son and family have a sr. dog named Simon. He is oh so handsome however, he is getting up in years and I know that this will be helpful to keep him steady as he goes. Thanks for the opportunity.

I have 2 senior dogs, Peanut (11) and Dolly (10), a boy and a girl that I still call them my babies…….This would be great, specially for Peanut; he has arthritis, and is getting difficult for him to walk on hardwood floors. Thanks for the opportunity.

I have a beautiful 13 year young Great Dane/Lab mix. These would make getting around on the tile floor in our house so much easier for my Boo-boo-kins 🙂

I have an 11, almost 12 year old Chia-Pom and she has always had hip and joint problems. She is always afraid to walk on any floor that doesn’t have carpeting or rugs.

My 13 year old Labrador Retriever would really benefit from these. She has arthritis and it’s really hard for her to get up off our floors. She avoids our hardwood floors entirely due to always sliding on them like an ice rink.

Omg where have the’s been the last few years? My poor Boober is 13 and is over 100lbs with arthritis. He struggles to get up off the tile at times. There are times we have to actually slide him over to carpet and roll him so him feet can use the carpet to get up. We moved because he couldn’t do the stairs anymore and I refuse to put him down just because of stairs. But we can’t seem to get away from tile. This would improve his quality of life so much.

These would be awesome for my older dog who does not like being on our laminate floors. She always goes upstairs where there is carpeting.

Our dog is no longer able to grip to get up 2 stairs. It’s heartbreaking to see her like this. I think I’m going to try and find this product in a pet store.

we have no carpet…only wood & tile and our boy has such a hard time when he wants to play because he gets scared when he can’t balance and so then he loses the desire to play 🙁 This would give him his playfulness back!

We have hardwood floors and my 16 yr old spaniel mix has trouble getting up and walking around due to stiff joints. I think this is a great product and it would benefit Kandy greatly!

Willing to try anything to get my 12 year old German Shepherd/Pitbull to walk confidently again. I would like to see if these do the trick since they would allow him to fully feel the ground.

Kouga is 10 years old and is hard for him to walk on ceramic tile and hardwood floors without slipping. I want to win some grips for him.
