Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash

Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash

Even though I make my own soap, I am sucker for body wash. I still have not experimented with making my own liquid soap, mostly due to a lack of time and resources since our temporary apartment is just so darn small! Even though I had not bought body wash in months, I couldn't resist when I saw on Facebook that Organix is now making body wash and body lotion.  With Walgreens having all of their Organix products heavily discounted in June, I couldn't resist purchasing a bottle of Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash.

Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash

When it comes to Organix products, I have always loved their hair products, and they are almost exclusively what I use. Since 2006, this company has been making products that are not only good for the environment, but you, with all of their products being:

  • Sulfate Free
  • Paraben Free
  • Pthhalate Free
  • SLS Free
  • Sodium Free

As someone who tries being as eco-friendly as possible, I was happy that this company even uses recycled plastic. Even the ink used to print their bottles is environmentally friendly, which is made from a corn by-product, not petrochemicals.  Like other products mentioned on my blog, Organix is against animal testing and does not test any of their products on animals. While I love having soft skin, I don't want it to be at the cost of an animal's discomfort, or worse, life.

As for Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash itself, is a buttery body wash that has a nice, creamy lather.  The product also advertises that is made with sugar cane and willow bark to promote cellular turnover to keep your skin feeling soft and having that nice, healthy glow we all want. This product is also filled with antioxidants such as hibiscus extract, and coconut milk protein (which also hydrates your skin).

Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash: Effectiveness

When they advertise that the Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash has a rich, buttery lather, they mean it! A little of this body wash really goes a long way since the lather is just so creamy, or at least it was on my loofa. Washing with this soap really is a guilty pleasure for me, since I usually make my own soap.  I feel bad using it over my own homemade bar soap, but it just one of those things that make you feel amazing after a bad day.  After getting out of the shower, your skin doesn't just feel soft, but refreshed. In all honest, I had never tried a body wash like this, and I usually don't go for cheap soaps. Who said you have to have SLS to have a rich lathering soap!

Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash: Smell

Since I couldn't decide what scent I wanted to try in the store, I purchased the Moroccan Argan Oil Creamy Oil Body Wash and the Coconut Milk Hibiscus Creamy Body Wash.  While I have used the Moroccan Argan Oil Creamy Oil Body Wash a few times, I must admit, I am a big of the Coconut Milk Hibiscus Creamy Body Wash.  I use the Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner as well, so I guess that is not too shocking.  What I likes so much about the coconut scent is that it is very relaxing and soothing, which is perfect for unwinding after a stressful day.  While I do prefer the Coconut Milk over other scents, I have to say that I don't think Organix makes a bad smelling product in any of their lines.

Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash: Overall

After trying this body wash for over a month, I really can't say a negative thing about the Organix Creamy Oil Body Wash; it has the same quality as every other Organix product I have tried. I have to give this natural body wash an A+. While it is a bit pricy, it is worth every penny.  When it is not on sale, I am purchasing this product from Amazon since it is much cheaper than any other physical store in my area. If you are on the market for a new body wash or wanting to pamper yourself, give this body wash a try!
