I learned that Honeywell portable air conditioners automatically evaporate moisture and hot air, instead of collecting it in a bucket that needs to be emptied every so often.

I’ve actually been looking at portable air conditioners lately. Though they do a lot of good, they’re quite pricey.

Bummer that Reya isn’t included. Haha.

I learned that they have a remote control and feather-touch controls! Pretty cool! I didn’t even know they sold things like this. This would be so great in my Mom’s house! She has an OLD house, and the upstair bedrooms don’t cool down at all. Of course, my Mother sleeps upstairs. I don’t know how, but she does! This would help her so much!!!!!

I had no idea that they have locations outside the U.S. My husband deals with this company where he works.

I learned that this air conditioner is portable & takes the moister out of the air which is great for our humid climate here in Florida. The humidity is in the 90’s today. Thanks for the giveaway.

I had NO idea they were world wide. Guess I am living in a box. I knew and heard of the company but NO idea they were so large and all over like this. Portable a/c is the best thing I have seen in LONG time. South Louisiana get REALLY hot down here 🙂

These have an automatic evaporation system so that you don’t have to be dumping out buckets of water. Very convenient!

  13. kath g August 8, 2015 at 11:23 am - Reply

I learned that their auto evaporation system filters, dehumidifies and cools the air and a flexible hose sends the heat to the outside through a window eliminating the need for a drainage tank and that they can dehumidify up to 90 pints in 24 hours.

I would love to be able to use this. Even with the air running in the house my room is still warm. I’d really like to be able to shut the air off to the rest of the house and just run the portable one in my room at night.

One of the things that you can use to determine which is your best machine choice is how much sun you get. That’s kind of neat because one side of our home gets much more sun than the other.

It’s a freestanding cooling appliance designed to cool the air in a single room or moderately sized space.

Honeywell Portable Air Conditioners use an energy efficient R410-A refrigerant compressor, condenser and evaporator which are housed in a compact unit. The air is filtered, dehumidified and cooled using air to exchange heat, in much the same way a car or typical house air conditioner operate.
