In Your Mind is What Your Brain Does for a Living – Steven Jay Fogel goes in-depth into how our mind works and how we can change the way we think to improve our lives. After reading a bit about this book, I was excited to start reading!

Your Mind is What Your Brain Does for a Living: What is It

Did you know that your brain’s default programming can potential sabotage your life? This is theory behind Your Mind Is What Your Brain Does For A Living. This book shows you what you need to do to interrupt self-defeating behavior and make better choices in your life by ‘rewiring’ your brain to make yourself happier. As well, the author goes into ways to make your life better by dealing with stress, frustration, pain, and other things that should stay in your past and help you live happier life in the present.

Your Mind is What Your Brain Does for a Living: Overall

In all honesty, I wasn’t a fan of this book. I have tried reading it multiple times and found it a bit hard to follow. While there are some interesting studies, a lot of it feels like the authors opinion. While this is okay, it really wasn’t what I was expecting out the book. There are some very interesting exercises, however,  and some interesting things to consider. I personally liked some of the thought exercises and recommendations from the exercises. Based on my own experience with the book, I give Your Mind is What Your Brain Does for a Living a C- rating.

I definitely appreciate your honest opinion . The book does sound interesting and I do believe that you mind plays a huge role in how you are today in your life… I think study has shown if you think positive , positive will show itself and vice versa with negative thoughts… Thanks again for share and great review @tisonlyme143
