    \ Which devices or appliances would you hook up to the Smartplug? My daughter in law has a smart phone and a couple other devices that I think she would hook up to it.

    I would plug in my portable heater so I can turn it on just before I get home. That way when I step inside the heat is already warmed up my place that is always cool and a little damp.

    I would use it to monitor the temperature and control my grow lights for my plants in the garage. I start growing my vegetable plants etc indoors before planting outside.
