Posted on Aug 12 2015 - 10:54am by Susan Bewley

For most of us, life doesn’t revolve around a TV schedule. We’re constantly on the go, be it for work or pleasure and it’s only a matter of time before you’re four weeks behind on your favorite show. Even if we are at home, how many times have you been outvoted by your kids or roommate on what you’re going to watch that night? It’s safe to say Fear the Walking Dead might lose to Sunday Night Football quite a few times in most of our houses.

Life happens and thankfully XFINITY is working to make missing your shows and fighting over the remote a thing of the past. With the new Cloud DVR feature, available to X1 customers in specific markets, customers will now be able to:

  • Stream and download their recorded DVR programs to any internet-connected device on the go. Yep – this means being able to watch your shows whenever and whenever you want! It’s a perfect way to stay caught up even when traveling.
  • Turn any device into a TV in your home with the ability to live stream tons of channels and On Demand options.
Download the XFINITY TV App for X1 to get started: iPhone / Android

Just watching your favorite shows from your main tv will be a thing of the past! With the new Cloud DVR you will also be able to:

  • Downloading your DVR shows and taking them on a plane (without an internet connection)
  • Setting the kids up with movies on tablets in the backseat of a long car trip
  • Get the full TV experience on any screen in your home
  • Watching two shows at once – the kids can have control over the TV, while you enjoy Grey’s Anatomy on your tablet!
  • Catching up on Chicago Fire on the train to work
  • This includes the whole X1 experience, right on any device: channel guide, On Demand,DVR, etc.

So what are you waiting for? Check to see if you have Xfinity in your area and find out all the amazing benefits that it can bring to your home!
