    I am going to plant my veggie garden — some tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and peppers. In Michigan, we don’t plant until the end of May.

    I had to change my plans a little to be around as my ceiling almost collapsed from water coming down from the roof in heavy downpour, now buckets everywhere and more rain coming!

    It is way too early to be safe to plant anything here in Chicago area. We need to wait until May 15th to be safe. Anytime I plant early, I end up losing it to a freeze.
