My New Year’s Resolution was to cook and eat healthier. Yes, I have been cooking and eating healthier meals for myself and my family. My 18 year old daughter was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago causing her to gain weight. This can lead to other health problems if she doesn’t eat healthy and exercise regularly. I do most of the cooking and always make a Sunday dinner so we have been working together to create a grocery list and meal plan for the week.

Well I wanted to try & eat healthier every day & I was doing really good. Then my kids went to Golden Corral for the buffet & brought me back a box with desserts in it! In all fairness I did just eat one of the 4 each day instead of eating them all at once like I would have had done before. 🙂 I know still very bad. But, it was my favorites; pumpkin pie, carrot cake (2), vanilla cupcake with buttercream & sprinkles! I am back on track now after my 4 days of desserts.
