What Colors Look Best on You

January 30, 2014 by Susan Bewley

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for We Love Colors. The opinions in this post, however, are honest and my own.

Like many of you, I feel overwhelmed when I go to the store and see some of the new fashions in a variety of colors. While all these clothes look super cute on the rack and seem like a great choice, I'm more often than not leaving the dressing room feeling defeated, especially if I see some of the colors aren't the most flattering with my dark hair and very light skin. Lately, I have found that some of the best stuff on me are colors I never would have considered wearing. Believe me, nothing was odder than coming home with some of the clothes I have and shocking my husband with just how cute they look on me, even if the colors may not have been my first choice.

Thinking that many of you have problems matching colors and choosing the right fashion accessories like I do, I thought I would share with you this really neat infographic. Some of the colors suggested by this What Colors Look Good on You infographic really surprised me and I can't wait for my next trip to KOHLS or the mall! After seeing this and based on your own experience, what colors look best on you?

Had to pin this as I always forget what are my colors, even whether I'm warm or cool.  Thanks!

I HAD TO DISAGREE WITH THE COLOR SHEET. I WAS WARM & I WEAR ALL THE COLORS BUT MOSTLY THE COOL ONES & THEY LOOK GOOD ON ME. IN THE SUMMER WITH A TAN I TEND TO WEAR LIGHTER COLORS TO SHOW OFF THE TAN. SO IM KIND OF A SEASON COLOR PERSON. BUT I WEAR ALL COLORS ALL THE TIME. THANKS THO

I guess I instinctually knew what colors to wear. After confirming my undertone the colors suggested are what you usually find in my closet. They didn't mention gray though and that's my favorite color. Lots of gray in my wardrobe!

This is the most unique guide I’ve seen for determining colors that complement. I love the suggestion to pin this! It should be stumbled too!
