Baking Is Fun: Free Printable Games

October 3, 2014 by Susan Bewley

Did you bake in the kitchen with your parents growing up? For me, some of my fondest memories growing up was cooking in the kitchen with my parents. We made a variety of different fun treats, some of the recipes going all the way back to my great grandmother. Of course, the best part of baking is eating the delicious treats afterwards! With summer finally over and more of us spending time indoors, I thought this was the perfect time to feature one of my favorite pastimes – baking!

Of course, there is a lot involved with baking, making it a very fun activity for kids of all ages. To make learning about baking more fun, I created these adorable free printable games exclusively for my readers. We think kids will love these baking themed games, including a baking matching game, word search, and even word scramble!

To download these games, just click on the pictures below, which will take you straight to the PDF version of these games. You can print them out as many times as you like – we don’t mind! All we ask is that you please don’t post these games on your own website. You are welcome to link back to this page on your own blog.

Would you like us to have more cute games like this? Make sure to tell us below!

These baking game printables look like a lot of family fun. My daughter always liked to bake with me and now she is older and is baking on her own and enjoys it.

What a good idea! The matching game would be great for a little one & the word scramble for those who can read.

This is a great idea to introduce cooking to the young ones. They need to know the terminology before they begin cooking. This is an excellent way to accomplish that.

I am so glad I found this we are having a Bun in the oven baby shower for my niece and almost all the decorations are geared towards baking and I will be copying these for the kids to keep them occupied and it also goes very well with the theme and the things that we already made. Thanks for sharing and the links I think this was the easiest thing I found for the shower and I wasnt looking for it it came to me. This made my day!!!

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I love this idea and I am always printing stuff like this out when I babysit. It keeps a childs mind in motion and it is so fun helping them try to figure them out.

I am always looking for fun things to print out for my grandkids. I think my seven year old granddaughter can have a lot of fun with these. Thank you! Yes I would like to see more. My grandkids range from almost three, four, four, almost six and seven so I look for a wide range of things in the younger age groups.
