New Year Healthy Pet Flash Giveaway

January 28, 2015 by Susan Bewley

Welcome to the

New Year Healthy Flash Giveaway

Sponsored by Petbrosia

Organized by Budget Earth

Did you know that it’s just as important that your dog or cat stay healthy during the new year? Even though many people don’t think about it, obesity is a big issue with pets. The sixth annual National Pet Obesity Awareness Survey found that 52% of dogs and 58.3 percentage of cats are considered overweight or obese by their veterinarian. Like us, you are probably very shocked by this number. Being rather shocked by this number, I was happy to work with Petbrosia on a cool campaign to help educate and kickstart keeping our four-legged friends as healthy as possible in 2015! For the next month, we are going to focus on a variety of health topics related to pets, ranging from their food to keeping our pets active!

To start off this fun month of keeping our pets healthy, we are working with Petbrosia on this awesome giveaway! One very lucky reader will win a $10 Amazon Gift Card! To learn more, make sure to read the rules below and the enter the Rafflecopter!

Noticed that our prize changed? Well, Petbrosia decided to offer the awesome food deal to everyone! Just use the code BE2015 to get a free 3lb triall box of Petbrosia for dogs or cat (chicken or salmon). This coupon expires 2/1/2015 and is valid 1 person per household. New customers only.

I have five rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds. Unfortunately, my deaf girl, Ran, came down sick just before New Year’s – she tested positive for pancreatitis and her platelet count was down to 9. I’ve been working hard at getting her well and keeping my other four healthy. I went grain-free on my dogs’ food last year and am working on adding some supplements and getting in more exercise for them.
