After a hike to a waterfall my husband were driving around the area and stumbled upon a place called Speelyi beach park.

The water was almost turquoise blue, and was surrounded by snow topped mountains. And in the park around the beach we saw chipmunks, bald eagles, 1 moose, and 2 elk.

If you love wildlife and amazing scenery, Washington state is hard to beat!

When i was younger we would camp out on the beach for the weekends. I would love to watch the sunset and the glow of the moon on the water. Everything was peaceful and calm listening to the tide crash upon the shore.

When I hopped a bus and took a ‘just me’ trip to South Carolina. I sat on the beach, and went swimming in the ocean, ate seafood at a fancy restaurant, and watched the local fisherman catch shrimp. I visited some plantations and a castle, went to a club and had a few drinks… was a really fun-filled good time.

I went on a cruise with my husband and in-laws a few years ago and my mother-in-law and I were walking the beach at one of the ports and I came across a hammock. I climbed into the hammock and she was going to take my picture. I shifted and the whole thing flipped over, dumping me, face-first, into the sand. We still laugh about it.
