I make sure my kids get lots of rest, fluids, and are comfortable when they are sick. I also use medicine when appropriate to help treat symptoms to make them more comfortable.

Most of the time I am not just reassuring them I am myself as well. When they start running a fever and are hurting all over I would rather it be me for sure !!

When I babysit my nieces and they happen to have a cold, I make them chicken broth soup, give them their medicine, and then tuck them in and read them their favorite books. 🙂
