I remember Colonel Mustard and Mr. Green. I also remember the rope and the candlestick. The dining room is the only room I remember. It’s probably been 45 years since I played. This was absolutely my favorite game as a preteen. I think it really helped sharpen my investigative, logic, and deductive skills. Would love to win this to share with my grandson. Thanks for the opportunity

I remember everything… I was obsessed with the board game as a kid! I own three different editions: my original from the early 1990s that’s falling apart, the 50th anniversary tin with bonus murder weapon poison, and the 1963 classic wooden edition. That obsession prompted my babysitter to introduce me to the 1985 comedy classic “Clue” and it’s still my favorite movie and I’m 27 now! (It stars Tim Curry as Wadsworth the Butler, Lesley Ann Warren as Miss Scarelt, Eileen Brennan as Mrs. Peacock, Madeline Kahn as Mrs. White, Christopher Lloyd as Professor Plum, Michael McKean as Mr. Green, and Martin Mull as Colonel Mustard. Do yourself a favor and go out and rent this DVD today! Just make sure to pick the “home movie version with all three endings” instead of an ending at random; It’s 1,000% more fun that way!) I’ve probably watched it once a week on average since that fateful night, to the point that my over-watching has damaged two VHS tapes and one DVD copy! I’ve never heard of the “Clue” movie featured in this giveaway but I can’t wait to see it, whether I win or not.

  27. Jessica Opps August 6, 2014 at 11:59 pm -

I remember all of them from the original game and the movie with Tim Curry. We checked out the Tim Curry movie from the library and my children absolutely loved it.

  28. Sara August 7, 2014 at 12:06 am -

my favorite rooms were the ones with the secret passages…conservatory to lounge was one, and kitchen to (someplace i can’t remember right now) was the other.

  29. Elizabeth August 7, 2014 at 12:11 am -

I played Clue a lot with the daughters when they were kids, it was my oldest’s favorite game. I always liked being the maid, Mrs. White, because maids know a lot more than most anyone else in the mansion because so many people (rich and poor alike) treat servants and staff members as furniture. Not that that kind of “intel” it helps in a board game!!! LOL. But it MIGHT if Mrs.White was playing detective on a TV show, in a movie, or in real life!

  30. Miz Vickik August 7, 2014 at 6:16 pm -

I remember Professor Plum and Colonel Mustard!

  31. Amy Conyers August 7, 2014 at 7:59 pm -

  34. Brooke Bumgardner August 8, 2014 at 11:53 am -
