Crockpot Chicken and Gravy Recipe

An easy to make, budget friendly Crockpot Chicken and Gravy recipe perfect for any weeknight.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • (2) .87-ounce packets of chicken gravy mix
  • (1) 10.5-ounce can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Add the butter to a pot and place the pot on the stovetop over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the garlic and saute until golden and very fragrant.
  3. Combine the prepared garlic, gravy mix, soup, water, and thyme in a large crockpot and stir until well combined.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the crockpot and turn them over to coat in the gravy mixture.
  5. Place the lid on the crockpot and turn it onto the LOW heat setting.
  6. Cook for four hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Shred the chicken with a fork and stir everything to combine.
  8. Serve the chicken gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits.
