In our household, it isn’t too uncommon for us to play board games at least once a week. We are talking nice, cuddly friendly board games, but competitive strategy games that may have some members of the household laughing or rather annoyed. Card games are especially popular since they have a very easy setup and don’t take up a great deal of room, allowing us to not just set up a game on the table, but come back to it multiple times in a week without having to worry about putting it up. In this game, you immerse yourself in the world of magic and the mundane by summoning mythical pets, along with casting powerful spells while in your own home. To win, you must collect five mythical creatures on your lawn. This game contains 134 colorful cards, 15 tokens, four fences, one spinner, and a rulebook. Runes & Regulations Game: Our Thoughts
As someone who likes TeeTurtle products and their lines of games, I couldn’t wait to start going through Runes & Regulations. Being someone who has seen some of their other games, I wasn’t disappointed when it came to witty, beautifully drawn cards and easy to follow the rules. While the game itself is stunning, the rules are easy to follow but still rather cutthroat. Just know this isn’t a warm, cuddly game and the main goal is to kill cuddly, cute mythical animals in hopes of you being the first one to give five animals before your neighbor. While it is cute, know it isn’t for kids. For a teenager or adult who loves strategic board games, I consider Runes & Regulations a must for board game enthusiasts.
