Growums Giveaway

When Growums Founder Michael Ferraro was a kid, he started growing vegetables for his dad’s garden center using the same type of pellets used to grow Growums today. “It was magical to watch this small, dry object soak up water and create a place for me to put my vegetable seeds,” he recalls. “And a few days later, I had plants! It was cool! Most kids today don’t get to experience growing their own food, and it’s our goal to give them that chance with Growums.”
Growums is a complete gardening program created for kids! Each themed garden kit comes with everything you need to dig in and grow your own food. There are 6 themed garden kits to choose from (herb, pizza, ratatouille, salad, stir-fry and taco), as well as 3 mini kits (fruit cup, melon blast and pumpkin patch). When you register your garden at using the secret code found in each kit, you enter an animated world where the Growums characters show you how to successfully grow your real-life garden from seed to harvest! “My kids have done it, and so have the kids in my neighborhood,” Michael explains. “I can tell you from experience: The joy on their faces and the fun they have digging in the dirt – then eating what they’ve grown – is immeasurable!”
In addition to a great line of garden kits, Growums also has an amazing fundraising program in place for schools and organizations looking to get on the healthy train! It’s time to think outside of the chocolate box, popcorn canisters and cookie dough. Say goodbye to unhealthy fundraisers and say hello to Growums!

I love the idea of this being a fundraiser! I know I’d buy it to help support my children’s school. It’s something I’d want to buy anyway, so it’s a win-win. I’ll pass this info along to the school directors!
