No real plans other than taking the 8yo TOT. He is excited b/c he is going to be the Face in/Fade Out Phantom. I’d prefer he be a pumpkin but he’s like “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

Hubby and I have tickets to a Halloween party this year, but I’m not sure if he’ll be able to go; he’s an actor, and he doesn’t know yet if he has a film shoot that weekend. I might be going solo!

We don’t really do anything for Halloween – no kids and our dogs go bonkers if we get millions of doorbell rings or knocks so we stay in and stay dark (the porch light at least) so we don’t get visitors. I like Halloween but there just isn’t a reason for us to celebrate – can’t wear a costume to work, we don’t go out to bars, no kids to participate with – just nothing. I do like seeing all the decorations and hearing about everyone’s costumes and eating leftover candy at work though!

I’m in a dilemma about Halloween this year. We just moved to a new place with an awesome balcony, but no place to sit at ground level and give out treats to the neighborhood kids and our neighborhood attracts a ton of trick or treaters. Don’t know what we’re going to do.

I plan on helping my daughter make a homemade Halloween costume. She wants to me a robber, so it should be easy. Old time robber with black and white striped shirt, bag with a big $ sign on it and a face mask. I also love handing out candy and seeing all the kids dressed up. My favorite holiday!

well I always go trick or treating with my daughter who is now 8. but this year I am going with my 18month old and 8 yr old. Me and her are dressing up as Monster High. We aren’t sure what the baby is going as yet but i found a pink skeleton outfit that looks kinda like monster high!

  23. Jody D October 13, 2014 at 8:16 pm -

Unfortunately we will be working this one again. The kids are grown up so no guilt there!

  24. Anita October 14, 2014 at 1:59 am -

Not sure yet. As of late, I have become kind of a fuddy duddy about Halloween. I love to dress up, but the bar scene is so overcrowded that night and it seems more of a “let me see how little I can wear in public and not get arrested” kind of thing that it’s just not worth fighting the crowds of the intoxicated. I might help out with a local neighborhood celebration.

  25. Sandra October 14, 2014 at 10:30 am -
