Make Treat Time Amazing with Full Moon Dog Treats

July 26, 2015 by Susan Bewley

Disclosure: I received this product for free to review. The opinions in my review are honest and my own.

Looking for all natural treats made in the USA & made from human grade USDA ingredients? See what we think of Full Moon Dog Treats here!

As some of you have probably guessed, we go through a lot of treats in our household. With an 80 lb Alaskan Malamute and a growing Alaskan Malamute puppy, treats are always in high demand. While they are mostly used for reinforcing commands with Reya, they are currently Ivi’s world, especially with her learning new commands – and teething – at the moment. I refuse to buy any treats that aren’t all natural and made in the United States, which can make things quite challenging if we don’t want to spend a small fortune every month on dog treats. While we were at BlogPaws in Nashville, I was introduced to an awesome company who makes not only all natural, human grade treats, but treats that are also affordable. Once I heard more about their treats, I knew we had to try Full Moon Dog Treats for our girls!

Full Moon Dog Treats: What is It?

Looking for all natural treats made from high quality, human grade ingredients right in the United States? If so, we think you will love Full Moon Dog Treats. What makes these treats so unique is that they are made using USDA human grade ingredients, especially meat – all of which comes from family farms right here in the United States. Not only do all the ingredients come from the US, but all the treats are made here as well, making sure their treats are always high quality and never contain scary chemicals. When you pick up a bag of Full Moon treats, you know you are always get 100% all natural treats. As well, their treats never contain artificial preservatives, glycerin, corn, wheat, soy, or flavor enhancers. In other words, you are getting the kind of treats you can be proud to feed your dog!

Full Moon Dog Treats: Overall

Okay, I have to admit, after meeting Full Moon Dog at BlogPaws, I went out to Kroger so that Reya could try them for herself. When Reya first bit into these treats, she was hooked. What truly amazed me was the smell and feel of the treats themselves. They reminded me of human jerky. Not the cheap stuff, but high quality, expensive jerky. Unlike our jerky though, it was much softer, allowing me to break the pieces smaller for Ivi, or allow Reya to try a truly exquisite treat during training. Honestly, I was amazed that they could offer such high quality treats at such an affordable price, especially at local grocery stores. Now, anytime I go grocery shopping, I put in a variety of treats for Reya. Before I go any further, I do want to say that both girls love these treats, especially Ivi. She LOVES the chicken nugget pack and we have found it is perfect for her right now, since it is not too hard but hard enough it gives her a little bit of a challenge with her teeth. With her teething right now, that is a major plus in my eyes. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single negative with these treats. They truly seem like the perfect, natural treats, especially since anyone can afford them – even those on a budget! Based on my own experience, I am delighted to give Full Moon Dog Treats an A+ rating and highly recommend them to my readers!

I like that these are human grade quality jerky, and that you can break them into smaller pieces since my Lhasa doesn’t need a large treat. Thanks for the great review, I will certainly be checking these out next time I hit my local Walgreens!

Though I have not had my dogs try these treats yet I am already loving that they are 100% made in the US in every way. With so many recalls and dogs getting sick I am always concern about if what I give my Pugs are doing to be good for them since they are so sensitive. I look forward to giving them these treats.

Seriously- thank you for this review!!! Since adopting my adult dog, I’ve learned how difficult it is (at least in my town) to find treats made in the USA…..and treats that are NOT filled with chemicals and by-products and fillers. These treats sound amazing. They’re made in the USA and are made with human grade ingredients. I’ve already found them on Amazon and will absolutely be purchasing some. Thank you!!!

I hope your dog loves them as muc has ours! If you are near a Kroger or any of their brands, they sell them there too. Oh! They are also the DogsWell brand – that is their name in petstores. 🙂

Made in the USA with human grade ingredients means I can trust the ingredients in these treats. For awhile I was afraid to give my dogs anything that I had not made myself. There were so many warnings and recalls. So glad that there are good treats that I can give my dogs.

Great review – we love Full Moon dog treats. We recently tried the chicken fillet’s and chicken and sweet potato flavors and they were huge hits. Our boys are definitely drooling over those chicken nuggets now!
