What is the Silhouette Portrait? And why do you want it?

The Silhouette Portrait is an electronic cutting tool that works with your PC or Mac. With a small blade, it cuts paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, and more! You can use the included design software to cut any font on your computer, download shapes and designs from the Silhouette Online Store, or even create your very own designs up to 8 inches wide and 10 feet long!

    My hubby insists that he would have first crack at this machine and make some decals for his car.
    As for me – I think I would start with a cute custom kitty decal.
    For my car.

    I would use the Silhouette to make different embellishments. I like to make cards and scrapbook, and this machine would be an awesome addition to my crafting supplies!

    quilt stencils! i hand piece, hand quilt and donate quilts. i desperately need new stencils, but they are so expensive and it is very difficult to find exactly what i want. with this wonderful machine, i could design and create my own!!
