The Vegetarian Slow Cooker Review

The Vegetarian Slow Cooker

Do you love your slow cooker? I will freely admit, I use mine multiple times a week and honestly depend on it. I found that there are a lot of awesome recipes that just need that extra time cooking, making a slow cooker the best choice possible with our busy lifestyle. The problem I have found is that it seems almost impossible to find vegetarian slow cooker cookbooks, especially if you want something not filled with processed foods. To my delight, however, I recently learn of a new cookbook that seemed perfect for my family – The Vegetarian Slow Cooker.

The Vegetarian Slow Cooker: What is It?

Looking for a fun vegetarian cookbook perfect for those of us who depend on our slow cookers? If so, we think you will love The Vegetarian Slow Cooker by Judith Finlayson. This new cookbook is filled with fool proof recipes filled with natural, delicious ingredients perfect for those wanting an easy family meal, or a sophisticated dish for entertaining.  The book is also filled with full color pictures featuring updated versions of classic recipes, as well as delicious dishes from a variety of different cultures, giving you access to over 200 recipes that are perfect your family. We are certain that once you try these yummy recipes you will never think of vegetarian dishes the same way again.

The Vegetarian Slow Cooker: Overall

Going through the cookbook, I have to say I am quite impressed with many of the recipes. There are a variety of different soups, curries, quiches, desserts, and even some bread recipes to spice things up. Unlike many ‘vegetarian recipes’ many of these don’t seem like glorified side dishes, but full entrees that everyone can enjoy. Personally, I love that most of the recipes do not include tofu and are filled with a variety of different spices and vegetables to make the meal as healthy and flavorful as possible. Based on our own experience, we are delighted to give The Vegetarian Slow Cooker an A rating!

The Vegetarian Slow Cooker: Where to Purchase

Want to buy this delicious cookbook for your own family? You can buy The Vegetarian Slow Cooker on Amazon.com for only $20.83.

I like cooking with the slow cooker. I’m not a big vegetable eater but looking at the photo above, that dish looks pretty hardy. I’d try it.

We need more recipes for those busy days when my wife and I work late. While we do not eat vegetarian all the time we try to do a few days a week. Maybe with good recipes we can increase the number of days.

We have been having meals without meat on at least 2 nights per week. We are trying to eat healthier. I realize that more of our friends and relatives have become vegetarians. I would love to add the Vegetarian Slow Cooker to my cookbook collection.

I need to get this book for my sister who has been a vegetarian since she was 12 years old. She loves her crockpot but she just makes a lot of the same thing. This would give her more options.

I have recently changed to a vegetarian diet. My biggest complaint is that I can’t seem to make food taste good now. This slow cooker cook book is just the boost I need! Thank you for sharing.
