Make the Holidays Fun with an Essential Oil Subscription Box

Posted on Nov 16 2016 - 2:57pm by Susan Bewley

Want to make your home smell amazing for the holidays? See how in our review of the Essential Oil Subscription Box here!

Do you love essential oils? For quite some time, I have loved using essential oils to make my home smell amazing (as well as homemade cleaners and dry shampoo for dogs). That being said, I go out of my way to find what I think are high quality essential oils to use in my home and only have a few companies I trust to provide quality essential oils without breaking out bank account. My biggest issue, however, is that I’m sometimes not the most creative when it comes to crafts and DIY projects that use essential oils. During the holiday season, I especially love for my house to smell like Christmas. Luckily, one of my favorite essential oil companies – Simply Earth – has a monthly box filled with recipes and different projects for people like me who love essential oils but need inspiration.  When they asked me if I would review their holiday box with different holiday projects and essential oils, I knew I had to try it and couldn’t wait for my complimentary box to arrive!

Simply Earth Essential Oil Subscription Box: What is It?

Looking for a fun subscription to introduce not only to new essential oils, but provides fun, easy to make recipes? If so, we think you will love Simply Earth Essential Oil Subscription Box. In this monthly themed essential oil box, you are provided with five to seven recipe cards and ingredients to make a variety of fun recipes, ranging from air fresheners to easy to make home items that you can enjoy throughout the year. For the holiday season, they have created a fun box featuring a way to make your own essential oil ornaments, diffuser blends, and more! To see the Christmas box, make sure to watch the video below!

Simply Earth Essential Oil Subscription Box: Our Thoughts

I have to say that so far, I absolutely love this box. While I love essential oils, I know I am not one of the craftiest people out there and I love boxes that let me make fun things without much hassle. They provide all the ingredients, almost all the supplies (the rest can easily be found in your kitchen), and give you easy-to-make recipes that are great for not just adults, but as family projects. With us having an adorable baby tree for the holidays, I loved the idea of being able to make our own dog-themed Christmas tree using the ornament recipe. Mixed with the smell of our fresh tree, it left our kitchen smelling absolutely amazing. With the other easy to make recipes in the box, we were also able to have the rest of our house smelling fantastic, especially our office. With all the fun recipes in this box, I honestly can’t wait to make more recipes. With this box, creating with essential oils never seemed so easy and attainable to someone who is as time-strapped as me.

I’m not very creative at crafts or DIY projects either but I do love essential oils and would love to experiment more. I have my good old standby lavender oil but would love to try some other kinds.

These products sound wonderful, I really enjoyed watching that
video, I love all the ideas you had in it. Definitely could use some oil to help with the flow of things and that diffuser is really nice.

This is an exciting giveaway! I used to be a candle girl, now I use essential oils for scent, with health benefit. I just made a recipe that doubles as aromatics and mulling spice. Chop cinnamon sticks into chips, chop dried orange rinds into chips, whole allspice & clove, add cinnamon & orange oil. I have some simmering right now – it’s getting me into the holiday spirit! I don’t have pine – fingers crossed.

I used to make candles and soap! I never even considered using EOs for more until recently when all the health benefits were being discussed. 🙂

I have always liked essential oils but the only way I have been using them is in an oil burner or a diffuser. I like that the Simple Earth subscription box comes with several recipe cards because being crafty and inventive is not one of my better talents.

I’ve been interested in essential oils, but I’ve not broken down and started buying any yet. The subscription box is very tempting, especially if they give you crafts to do with the oils.
