Do you know someone who has a gluten allergy? Sometimes it’s hard cooking for someone with an allergy, especially if it’s someone visiting your home. Since we have family members with severe allergies, I would rather be safe than sorry by having a variety of things in my home that I can cook quickly AND don’t have some of the most well known allergens. After one of my friends developed a gluten allergy, I want to make sure we are prepared whenever we entertain, so I have been looking at a variety of different mixes and options that we can have around the house when they visit. As I was looking at different mixes and getting overwhelmed at all the options, I was approached by The Pure Pantry, who asked me to review their Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. Since my family LOVES cookies, I knew I had to say yes!

The Pure Pantry Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix: Overall

Really, I have to say I was impressed with this mix. It is very easy to make, uses simple, kitchen staple ingredients, and best of all, it tastes great. I will be the first to admit, sometimes allergy friendly foods can be scary since they substitute so many ingredients you end up with a recipe that doesn’t really taste right. While the texture isn’t exactly like traditional flour cookies, it does have a great flavor and has to be the best gluten free cookies I have had to date. Based on our own experience with these cookies, we are happy to give Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix from The Pure Pantry an A rating!

I mostly do all my baking from “scratch”, but sometimes you want something quick and just don’t want to go to all the fuss & bother with scratch baking. This mix sounds good & I would like to give it a try.

This is the first I’ve heard of the Pure Pantry. I’d love to taste their Oatmeal Spice cookies! You’re right, it can be hard to find quick/easy things to cook for people with allergies!

I’m going to buy some for my bachelor brother. He has celiac’s disease and is single so this would be at home with his sweet tooth!

My favorite is chocolate chip. Our problem is eating snacks right before bedtime. Thank you for all your giveaways.

The cookies look delicious. I’ve never made cookies from a mix before, but I have made cakes using a mix. I’d love to try the Pure Pantry Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and the Pure Pantry Dark Chocolate Cake Mix. Thank you for sharing this review.
