Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

1/2 cup butter

2 cups sugar

2 cups flour

4 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup milk

2 large fresh peaches


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a 9×13 glass baking dish. Set aside.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup of sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Melt butter fully in microwave.
  5. Add melted butter and milk to mixing bowl and mix until very well combined.
  6. Pour batter into greased baking dish and smooth out evenly with a spatula.
  7. Peel and slice peaches, and arrange evenly on top of batter.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cup of sugar over the entire top of cobbler. Pour 1 cup of water over the top.
  9. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or homemade whipped cream.
