Do you love checking in on your family when you are gone for the day? When my husband and I are traveling, even just for a day trip, I feel terrible leaving my girls. While Ivi usually sleeps the time away while we are running errands, Reya is allowed to wander to house. While she is normally a good girl, every so often she will get into a bit of mischief. We have come home to her conducting searches of the bathroom trash, or deciding the whole roll of toilet paper she found really needs to be decorating the house. To help fight back against some of this mischief, we decided we needed to add some upgrades to our camera and security setup, allowing us to see most of the rooms in the house where Reya normally hangs out. Luckily, we found the perfect solution for seeing most of the downstairs – the D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera.

D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera: What is It?

Want to see what is going on in your home in best quality possible? If so, we think you will love the D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera. This innovative camera is not only small, but allows you to see more of your home with the camera’s 180 degree wide eye lens. Unlike a normal fish eye lens, however, D-LInk’s unique de-warping technology allows you to see your room in full 1080 quality without any warping! As well, the camera has a built-in recorder and 2 way audio, allowing you to have conversations with others in the room (or give your dog commands!), even when you are away from home. You can even check your room at night with the cameras built in night vision, allowing you to see up 16 feet in total darkness. As well, with sound and motion detection, the camera will send notifications straight to your phone, telling you to check in to make sure everything is okay.  To learn more about this amazing camera, make sure to watch the D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera video below!

D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera: Our Thoughts

So far, I have to say that we love the D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera. Not only is the camera super easy to set up, but has a variety of options that is useful for just about any family. It doesn’t matter if I’m out running errands or upstairs in the office, I can see what is going on downstairs in our large living room. The big deal is that with the wide angle, I can even see Reya resting on the floor, making sure she is really okay when she decides she wants to relax alone. The other awesome part is being able to talk to anyone in the living room from my phone, which is much more convenient than yelling throughout the house or texting them (which I think is quite silly). In the end, I think this may be the best, most useful home camera I have ever reviewed. Based on my own experience, I am delighted to give the D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera an A+ rating.

We had an old system, but you could not see much at night. And it was not that clear of a picture. I love the D-Link and the 180 degree view. Thank you for this information.

I have one of these and it is great to see what the dog did when we were gone. This could be hidden like a nanny cam to watch your children also. Love it.
