Growing up, I always strived to find personable and memorable gifts for everyone in my family. As a kid, I handcrafted my gifts, making special cards for my Mom or creating cute craft projects like mugs that she happily displayed on her desk at work. Sometimes I miss those simple days when it was so easy to make a personalized gift filled with love. We all love getting gifts that are personal, but sometimes, it can be hard with our busy schedules. If we aren't for sure exactly what someone wants, we get a gift card or something we 'think' they may want. What would you think of a way to make a gift card or just a simple gift much more personable?

As some of you may remember from the Christmas holiday, I am a big fan of Shutterfly. My mother absolutely loves the album I made for her of my little niece. Well, this company is now selling a new line of products that are perfect for those special occasions on You can make your own custom gift cards, gift mugs, and desktop easels from on their site!

Even better, it is super easy to make! All you have to do is design your card, pick a gift card, and they print it to your specifications with the gift code being printed right inside the card itself. You can then decorate that card with images of family, friends, or even a special picture of your favorite Mom with their grandchildren for Mother's Day. If you want to make a desktop easel or mug, the process is just as easy – they just print your preferred pictures on these gift items with your message. I'd like the "Good Times" card. I'd have pictures of our dog put on it to give to our son. The recent loss has hit him hard and it would be nice to have a keepsake.

This would be super for gifts for my mom and gran – they don't need anythiing, they don't want anything… but this type of memorabilia is always appreciated.  You can't go wrong with a gift from the heart.  Thank you for the thought and the link!
