barbar flat iron 1

As someone with naturally wavy and somewhat curly hair, I know the struggles of a bad hair day. Sometimes my hair just won’t behave and I know I have to get out the flat iron if I even want to consider having normal looking hair. For many reasons, however, I have always been nervous about straightening my hair. Since I have fine hair, it is very easy for it to burn and become a total mess if the iron is too hot, leaving my entire bedroom smelling like burned hair, and sometimes, a few days of dealing with a burned scalp. To say the least, I had a love-hate relationship with my flat iron. Knowing this wasn’t a good state to be in, especially with me preparing to cut my hair shorter for summer, I decided it was time to start looking for a new flat iron. Luckily, I found what seemed to be the perfect solution – the 2300 Titanium-Ionic 1.5″ Flat Iron!

Barbar 2300 Titanium-Ionic 1.5″ Flat Iron: What is It?

Looking for a way to straighten your hair that is easy to use and doesn’t damage your hair? If so, we think you will love the Barbar 2300 Titanium-Ionic 1.5″ Flat Iron. This innovative flat iron is designed to be used on both wet and dry hair to reduce style time, and prevent burning or damage with the iron’s ionic ventilation holes that seal in moisture in your hair. As well, the titanium plates on this flat iron allow it to not only last longer than traditional flat irons, but heat evenly for better performance.  The 2300 Titanium-Ionic 1.5″ Flat Iron is also designed to work with all hair types and lengths, allowing everyone to enjoy beautiful, straight hair all year long! With tits digital LCD display and variety of heat options, you can’t go wrong with this eco-friendly flat iron!

Barbar 2300 Titanium-Ionic 1.5″ Flat Iron: Overall

As someone who loves bouncing between shoulder length and very long hair, I was delighted when I got to try this Barbar flat iron. I have to say that it is the best iron I have tried yet, allowing me to comfortably straighten my hair without having to worry about damage or it burning my scalp due to overheating. As well, I love the LCD screen, since it takes the guess work out of determining the heat of your flat iron, something that has been a bit of a headache for me in the past. Really, I don’t think I could be happier with this flat iron, and consider it worth every penny. I won’t be surprised at all if this ends up being someone’s present later this year, since I think it is a must for any girl who wants straighter, tamer hair. Based on my own experience, I am delighted to give the 2300 Titanium-Ionic 1.5″ Flat Iron an A+ rating!

This is a great flat iron. I really like the LCD display and settings. I also like the shape of it — it would make it easier to hold also.

I love that it has a LCD screen! That’s a great feature. Sounds like this flat iron is alot healthier for your hair! I think it would also make a great gift for a friend!

I have not tried this hair straightener, but I sure would like to. I have super thick, really, really long hair that gets frizzy even after I straighten it with the straightener I have now. I like that it has an LCD readout and it is 1.5 inches, much bigger than the one I have now, and its titanium.

I so need a new flat iron. Mine is so old it heats up unevenly, and I have to just guess at the temperature. I know titanium is a good surface for flat irons. I’d love to win since all the good quality ones are so expensive. I’m like you, I like to have my hair just touching my shoulders and sometimes a little longer. I also like to switch it up by going more natural with my curls, or straighten it some around my face.

This looks so much easier to hold than my old one! I have arthritis and it’s a struggle to use it. I also frizz out when the humidity goes above 20% and it gets VERY humid here in NYC in the summer – so this looks PERFECT! Woo-hoo, gonna treat myself for my birthday in a couple of months!

I have naturally curly hair. I love my curls. However, some days I would just like to have straight hair. I bet this tool would do the trick fabulously. Also love the fact that hair doesn’t need to be dry to use the Barbar 2300 Titanium-Ionic 1.5″ Flat Iron.

Thanks for sharing your review of this straightener, it certainly sounds like it gets the job done! That’s awesome that you had such great results w/it after having those other hair-disasters caused by other brands! My favorite aspect, while also being the one I’m a bit leery of(??) is that it can be used on WET HAIR!!!??? Wow!!! Now, this could shorten my getting-ready routine by TONS of time if I could totally skip blow-drying!!! I may never be late for anything ever again!!!!!!! And “late” is my middle name these days… :/ lol
    Thanks again!!! 🙂

My hair is long and thick and tends to frizz. Like you, I have had love/hate relationships with any flat irons I have tried so far. The 2300 Titanium sounds like it would be great for reducing the risk of damage which I worry about every time I use a flat iron.

My hair is so thick,I need a flat iron to male my hair straight and beautiful. My hair gets frizzy even after I straighten. This would be really great and useful. Even if I don’t win it, I might go and pay for me one after i read the reviews.

The ends of my hair are fried from my flat iron, I sure could use one that is more gentle on hair like this one. Awesome that it can be used on wet hair, my daughter has been wanting to try one of those.

I’d really like to try this product. I keep hearing how ionic items work so much better on your hair. I’m also impressed that it is titanium. There is no damaging that thing!

Not only would I love to own this, I need it desperately. I have very curly hair and I need a curling iron that won’t damage and dry out my hair. I have never owned an ion flat iron. but I know this is the way to go with my texture of hair.

  35. Elizabeth Sunderland May 9, 2015 at 1:58 pm - Reply

I have very kinky curly hair underneath wavy hair. I hate it!! Have tried the cheaper flat irons and they don’t work very well. This article makes me have some hope.

This is a great review! I’m in the market for a new flat iron and this one looks great. I really like the led display. It’s perfect with the 1 1/2 inch size. Love it!

Your review was great. Now I really want one of their flat irons. It puts moisture into your hair instead of damaging it. It sounds completely awesome.

I dont know much about flat irons since I don’t use one. But I am glad you are not burning your head anymore!!

  44. brittani adams May 11, 2015 at 9:42 pm - Reply

I love hearing reviews over these because honestly they are all so 50-50 I have tried so many. Some just flat out don’t work well at all for my long thick coarse hair. I like the larger sized ones but 1.5 inch doesn’t sound bad. Sounds like this one really works well!

  45. Laura May 12, 2015 at 10:53 pm - Reply

This sounds like it works great! I always need to use a flat iron because my hair is so frizzy.

  46. Jeanine May 13, 2015 at 1:02 am - Reply

I love that it’s got a digital display. I’m curious though, do the buttons get in the way?

  47. polly May 13, 2015 at 8:12 pm - Reply

I would love to win this for daughter in law. I like it can be used on wet & dry hair.

  48. Darrlynn May 14, 2015 at 5:33 pm - Reply

Having a good straightener is practically a necessity around here, where the temperature constantly makes everyone’s hair a frizzy mess. My hair is mid thigh-level, and hair care its basically crucial for me. My wavy hair likes to burn easily, so trying to find a good straighter is so difficult!

  49. Emily Endrizzi May 15, 2015 at 10:26 am - Reply

I really love that I can use this on my hair when it is still wet. That would really save me time and would probably save my hair the extra damage of drying it! Awesome product!

  50. lisa May 18, 2015 at 1:31 pm - Reply

I have never used a flat iron. I’m one of the few people that have wavy hair and actually like it. So, I guess I’m pretty lucky. This does sound like a good product though.

  51. AC May 23, 2015 at 2:03 pm - Reply

This is a good proudct to use when styling hair. I like that it is different from other heat products because it can be used on wet hair. I have thick hair that won’t hold a shape but it may work using this.
