22 DIY Easter Egg Projects

March 13, 2015 by Susan Bewley

When you think of Easter, what are some of the first things that come to your mind? To me, it’s Easter baskets, the Easter bunny, and of course, colorful eggs! I have many fond memories growing up of looking for colorful eggs with my family, both at home and at church Easter egg hunts. While many of the eggs back then were made with store-bought kits, people today are getting much more creative, thanks to Pinterest and many of the awesome ideas you can find just by browsing the internet. Honestly, I feel like the most uncreative person ever when I look at some of the beautiful eggs I have seen my friends making prepping for Easter. I mean, they look like pieces of art! To say that they are inspiring is an understatement!

What shocked me the most, however, was when many of them told me they were super easy to make, maybe even easier than some of the boxed kits. Hearing this, I knew I had to try some of these cute projects for myself and thought I would share some of my favorite with you guys. Below, are 22 of the coolest DIY Easter Egg Projects I found online and from blogger friends. These projects are not just for kids, but ways to dress up your table for Easter dinner. Make sure to tell us what you think of these projects below!
