10 Party Cakes for Kids

Looking for some cute birthday cake recipes? Check out our list of 10 Party Cakes for Kids here!

Do you have a little one anxiously counting down the days until their birthday? For many kids, nothing is more exciting than planning their big day, especially if mom and dad are helping them plan something special that involves their friends. Since store bought cakes can be rather expensive (and filled with scary ingredients), many parents are deciding to instead make cute cakes at home. As well, you can easily control the ingredients in your cake if you make it at home, making sure it isn’t too sweet or flat tasting like many of the cakes bought at your local big box retailer. I think we can all agree nothing beats the taste of a homemade cake!

Knowing that sometimes finding the perfect birthday cake (or cupcakes) can be challenging, we decided to make your search a bit easier with this adorable round up of super cute kid’s cakes. Below, you will find 10 of the cutest children’s cakes with detailed instructions and of course, the recipe. To see the full recipe, make sure to click on the big picture below!

They’re all so colorful. Would make a splash at any child’s party. The basketball cupcakes are great for kids who love the game (how did I come to that conclusion? 😉 and for myself I am most interested in learning how to make the chocolate chip cookie cake.

The cakes look good. I like cupcakes because they’re less of a mess. But, for a kids party, it pretty much has to be a cake.
