While Reya and Ivi are featured quite a bit on Budget Earth, we want our readers to know that cats are just as important to us. We actually have an elderly named Lucie. I raised my baby she was a kitten and it’s hard to believe that she is 13, going on 14 years old. While is currently living with my mother in law (she didn’t want to come home after being cat sat and adores my father in law), we still consider a member of our household and she lets me have it if we don’t come visit her enough. As all cat owners will tell you, our cats have a way to giving us the cold shoulder when things don’t go their way, but I know love and new toys always make her day!
That being said, I am always on the lookout for good cat toys and treats, especially since she is still quite playful in her older age. Of course, one of the best places to find adorable homemade items for cats is Pinterest. You can find some of the cutest, most practical toys there that aren’t even hard to make. I like the scratching post except I need one that stands up for my cat to scratch on.
My female cat Kia is still young and loves playing with toys she can bat around. She’s really good at losing them though so getting ideas on different things I can make instead of buy is awesome. Now if she loses them I won’t mind so much! 🙂 Plus I love the kitty tent…she uses that to hide from everyone…lol 😉

THese are such great ideas, I love the cat house and the using of a cat litter box and a old t-shirt, your cat would get the sense of privacy and also be able to smell you and be comfortable these are great ideas, than you for sharing
These are wonderful DIY toys and furniture for cats..I say furniture as the scratching post is couch .and i wish i could replace the cat tree..
