nuNAAT Garlic Hair Products Review

March 23, 2014 by Susan Bewley

Disclosure: I received these products for free to review. The opinions in my review are honest and my own.

If there is one thing I hate about cold weather, it is the effect it has on my hair. Unlike my husband I have fine hair and it looks very flat during the winter months. I usually try doing everything I can to add body and shine to my hair during the winter months. As I was looking for new hair care product, I was approached by one of my favorite companies for a review – nuNAAT. Last year on my sister blog, Mew Review, I had the opportunity to review their Brazilian Keratin line which was one of the best hair care products I have found to this date. After having such a good experience with their other line I couldn’t wait to try their garlic line of hair care products.

nuNAAT Garlic Hair Products: What is It

Looking for a line of hair care products made from naturally powerful antibiotics that may remove harmful toxins from your hair and help an itchy, dry scalp If so, you may like nuNAAT Garlic hair care line. These products are made using crushed garlic, which stimulates blood flow, strengthens the hair, and reduces breakage while giving your hair body and shine.

nuNAAT Garlic Hair Products: Overall

I will freely admit, these hair care products had very mixed results in our house, mostly due to my husband and I having very different hair types. For two weeks, we both used these products. My husband, who has more coarse and wavy hair, had little problem with these products. His hair was shiny and looked awesome through most of our test. For my fine hair, however, I had every different results.  My hair felt heavy, and a bit oily, but had very little shine and my scalp felt extremely itchy. Other than not working well on my hair at all, the only other drawback was that it does strongly smell like garlic. Based on our mixed experience with these products, we give the nuNAAT Garlic Hair line a B rating.

I love the idea of taking great care of my hair. However, I don’t know if I can justify smelling like garlic for decent shine! My husband loves garlic so maybe he wouldn’t mind…

i am 57 and until 2 years ago my hair was totally straight.. then my hair decided to have a mind of its own.. so it is so curly now.. so I could try something if was suppose to help.. but the main ting I do when finding a shampoo and conditioner is the smell.. so I hope they have figured out how to make their products smell good!!!

I have very fine hair too so I have to be careful what I use or my hair feels and looks heavy and doesn’t behave well.I enjoyed your review on these products but I’m not sure it’s right for my hair type.

I agree! If you have fine hair, avoid it! It makes my husband’s hair look amazing but mine…not so much.

Based off your husband’s review it sounds like I would love it. My hair is thick and wavy but I like that you have two different hair thicknesses to compare the results.
