Okay cat owners, raise your hand if you love dealing with the litter box? If it is as I expect, not a single one of you like dealing with it. While we love our cats, the litter box just isn’t fun business – smelly and just a nasty, dirty ordeal. A few years ago, I got the brilliant idea to try a Litter Robot in hopes of making clean up better for my cats. Well, to say the least, it didn’t go as planned. I will freely admit, this is one cool litter box. Having tried another automated litter box, this is by far the quietest litter box I have tried to date. It was so quiet that even our nervous cat was curious and wanted to come smell it when she saw the littler box going. As well, I love that the box is built with nervous cats in mind. It doesn’t even start cleaning until 20 minutes after the cat leaves the littler box and if another cat goes in the box, it will stop the timer to make sure it never goes off while a cat is inside. As well, our cats love the crystal litter just as much, making the littler box an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Since the box also has throw away litter pans with litter, the only time you change the box is when its time to throw it away, making owning a cat an even easier experience. I have 3 cats and I am tired of having to clean their litter box. They wait for me to clean it and then one will jump right in and use it. They do it on purpose.
I hate cleaning the litter box or bugging the others in the house to do it. This would be so great for my family. I also think it would help keep the dog away from the litter box!
We could certainly use this! We have two indoor cats and 3 teenagers who have assigned days to clean the litterbox. Do they do it? Of course not! Usually one of them remembers after it gets pretty bad, but then they fight over who missed their day!
LOVE all of our cats, but hate hate cat boxes. >.> It’s actually the kids’ duty to take care of the boxes. Unless they aren’t home, then one of us adults takes care of it. Doesn’t mean any of us like to though.
This Self-Cleaning Litter Box would certainly be a blessing in our home. As a matter of fact, more than one would be great, as we have 3 brother kittens…ten months old and all neutered.

I have 6 cats and 4 litter boxes. Would love to try this but was hesitant that the cats would be scared of it. I am sure some would use it.

I would love to WIN this! How long does the crystal litter last? I only have 1 cat but she has to be the messiest litter messer on the planet. She goes in – does her thing. Gets out shakes off her feet and then goes in again to do the other comes out shakes off her feet and runs out the door. Ugh! I also have a 1 year old that will start sitting on the potty in the next 6 months – and I serious do not want her to be around the current litter box. Ugh!
I’am for sure a number 1 fan of not loving to clean my Cat’s litter box, The PetSafe Scoop Free, Seems so easy to use and will leave Muffins litterbox clean at all times. How neat is that? I love how smart this litter box is and waits the 20 minutes to clean the box and knows if another Cat enters so it will also keep our Cat’s safe and not run while they are in it. Love it.

I would love to have this litter box it’s so fancy,cleaning the cat box is a daily chore that i dread,but since I love my cat,I do it hoping nothing falls off my shovel and on to the floor,then I’m hoping the bag I dump the “stuff” into doesn’t have a hole in it and fall on the floor,yucky!I have to say it’s hard on my back crouching down and shoveling,this new cat box would be cleaner for me and my cat and way more dignified!

This would be so great to have, I have a newly diabetic cat who refuses to use the litter box unless it is totally clean. I also have another cat who is very skittish, so the fact that it is quiet and does not clean for 20 minutes after the cat leaves is great.

I have one cat but I do hate cleaning the litter box. I have tried different litter to see what would help it from smelling so quickly. I would love to have one of these. We have three cats and they all love a clean litter box. It never fails, but when I scoop one of our boxes, one of the cats always jumps right in to use it. We also have the issue where a couple of my dogs are convinced the litter box is a doggie buffet, so I have to do my best to keep the litter boxes clean, but I can’t stand over them 24/7. A self-cleaning box would be a real godsend in our house.

I don’t know why, but the look on that cats face totally cracked me up. Yes I’m odd. I wish I would have had that litter box when I had my cat. Even though it was kept clean he enjoyed kicking the litter out onto the floor.

What an awesome product. I really love it that it is so quiet and that you can just throw the whole box away and replace. That’s got to be the best thing about this. I do wonder though, I have a large kitty (she’s 20 lbs), I wonder if she’d fit.

I like that this box waits 20 minutes to work after a cat has left to prevent cats screaming across the room when the litter box starts making noise and attacks them, I think it is great that the litter box helps control odors and does make a unpleasant job a lot easier and nicer to handle, now if someone would come up with a way to empty the litter box collector boxes we would be set, thank you for sharing this review.
