9 Easy Yeast Bread & Rolls Recipes

November 6, 2013 by Susan Bewley 57 Comments

One of the things I love doing during the winter is making my own bread.  During the summer, I usually buy healthy breads from the store, but as the weather is getting cooler, I feel comfortable keeping my oven on longer and starting little baking projects throughout the day. I have especially been focusing on making bread from scratch with my bread maker dying, leaving me kneading bread in my Kitchenaid Mixer or by hand. After having so much fun  making a few different types of bread, I brought my search to Pinterest, where I found some yummy and amazing recipes. Below, I included 10 easy yeast bread and roll recipes that are perfect for anyone who is new to baking their own bread.

Are you considering learning how to make your own bread? Here are 9 easy yeast bread & rolls recipes that are perfect for beginners!

Honey Butter Dinner Rolls

BEST Buttery Dinner Rolls

Butterflake Dinner Rolls

Chewy Country Oat Bread

I love making bread and do so all the time, but I didn't have a good Rosemary Foccacia bread recipe.  I am going to try this with spelt flour since we are wheat allergies here!

I tried making pizza dough last week and it was supposed to take only a couple of hrs. to rise and for some reason it seemed to take forever and it didn't turn out quite right. Did I mention epic fail. I don't think I'll be doing that again any time soon

These recipes look really good. We have made several kinds of bread over the last year and we are going to be making a lot more this winter. I love rolls for dinner and kinds live on peanut butter sandwiches sometimes so homemade bread will be excellent.

I used to work in a kitchen and made naan bread with yeast all the time. At home, I keep on getting bad yeast I think because it won’t proof! Maybe I will try one of these after I get more yeast.

I love to make breads and rolls. Some people are "afraid" of yeast but a good thermometer, to check the temperature of the liquid, makes it easy. There is something therapuetic about kneading the dough.

I just started baking bread with my mom, who is a master baker. I haven't tried recipes with true cake yeast, yet, but have tried the rapid rise yeast and it has opened up a whole new interest for me. Thank you for hunting down these easy recipes, particularly the foccaccia and the butterflake rolls- they look delicious!
