For the past year I have been trying to make our home as eco-friendly as possible. We have used homemade and green cleaners for quite some time, but I’ve been wanting to do more. This year, I am determined we are going to try composting in some form. Personally, I love our little compost collector. I have been trying to figure out a way to start composting for awhile, and had no clue where to start. Now all we need is to build or buy a compost bin for outdoor where we can deposit the waste collected from this bin. That’s a good idea. I can’t stand fruit flies. Every year, it seems,I have to battle those little pests.
I SO need this! My husband is always complaining about my organics bin’s smell and keeps begging me to stop using it. I cannot as I am too “crunchy!”
so any issues with smells or flies? and how much are the bags you use in it?
They are about $4 – $10 for 25. You don’t have to use the official bags but they must be designed for composting.
This just went on my Amazon wishlist! I too feel bad throwing away scraps of food and coffee grounds. I look forward to owning one of these someday soon. 🙂

We just started are garden seedlings and this year we are thinking about composting too. This might be a good way to start.

Wow! I have never seen or heard of anything like this before. As a kid I lived in the country and we alwayshad a huge compost heap in our yard. I had no idea they have revolutionised composting so you cab do it indoors! I think this is a fabulous idea and product! Thank you so much for the awesome review!

This is really cool. I grow a lot of fruits and veggies in my back yard but I haven’t gotten into composting because it’s a lot of work. This seems like it would be a very easy and neat solution.
I need one of these, right now I am just using a bucket I have to bring out to our outdoor compost bin at least once a day.
This would be better than my current kitchen composter.
