Do you give chocolate as gifts during the holidays? Many of us want to give friends and family something special that we know they will truly enjoy. For people really close to us, we want them to have chocolate that is truly memorable. While many of us would love to visit a mom and pop candy store, this isn’t a reality for most of us. Thankfully, the internet allows us to try chocolate from all of the world, not just the United States. With so many choices out there, it can be overwhelmed finding the best chocolate. Luckily, we found the perfect chocolate treat – Guylian chocolates!

Guylian Chocolates: What is It?

Looking for delicious, high quality chocolate to give as a gift this Christmas season? If so, we think you will love Guylian Belgian Chocolate. Guylian’s is the world’s favorite Belgian chocolate and is currently the number 1 chocolate manufacturer in Belgium. Created by founders Guy and Lilian, they have been making handmade chocolate since 1958. Even today, Guylian’s crafts the finest authentic Belgium chocolate truffles, selling them to chocolate lovers all over the world! After you have tried their artisan truffles, whether they are the Signature Hazelnut Truffles or one of their other lovely varieties, you won’t want anything else this holiday season.

Guylian Chocolate: Overall

After tasting their chocolate, I have to say that I am a big fan of Guylian chocolates. I found their handmade, hazelnut filled truffles to be rich and delicious. Unlike other chocolates, their truffles are an experience that you truly sit and enjoy, with one piece being a yummy experience by itself. My true favorites, however, are their caramel filled seahorse truffles. These caramels are truly unique, made in a traditional kettle with all the ingredients blending together, while my husband especially loves the mango & peach medley in the Opus collection. With the wonderful flavor of their chocolates and fillings, I consider their chocolates the perfect holiday treat. Based on our own experience, we are happy to give Guylian Chocolates an A+ rating.

I learned that they use kettles to let the ingredients blend. They also use small batch kettles which to me implies care and love in the creation instead of the industrial vats of mass production.
