Have you been considering feeding a raw diet to your dog? Personally, I am a big fan of freeze dried treats and dog food, especially when it is mixed with my girls’ current kibble. While we already feed an all natural, grain-free diet to Reya and Ivi, encouraging Reya to eat her food is sometimes another matter. Normally, I bounce food whenever she gets bored with her food but as you can guess, this can very quickly get expensive. Recently, however, I learned of a new raw, freeze dried food topper that sounded perfect for my girls – Instinct® Raw Boost® Mixers.
Never heard of Instinct Raw Boost Mixers? Their food provides owners with an easy way to add raw food to their dogs’ diet without the messiness or confusion that normally comes with an entirely raw diet. All you have to do is put some of this protein packed, all natural, freeze dried food in your dogs food and watch them enjoy this yummy treat. Best of all, their food is made with all natural ingredients for optimal nutrient absorption, including nutritious oils for healthy skin and coat, and, of course, pure animal protein for leaner muscles and stronger bones. As well, dogs can get all the benefits of eating a raw diet, including more energy, healthier skin, a softer coat, and better digestion. In other words, busy pet parents like us get to treat our dogs to an awesome diet – while still living within our budget.
After doing a bit of research online, we went to PetSmart® to see this freeze dried mixer for ourselves. With how she has been bored with her kibble, we were excited to give her a treat that we knew would grab her interest, especially since it came in a variety of different flavors, including beef, turkey, chicken, and even lamb. They even offer it in sample sizes, allowing you to see which is your dog’s favorite or give them some variety. As you can see, Reya was pretty excited at PetSmart and couldn’t wait to bring it home to try it.
Okay, maybe they didn’t wait long at all to get into the food…
Want to try this awesome food out for your own dog? You can find Instinct Raw Boost Mixers at your local PetSmart or on the PetSmart website. We are certain that once your dog tries this freeze dried dog food, meal time will never be the same again!

What a great idea! It adds a nice boost to your dog’s food. A good amount of healthy ingredients and a change of flavor. I like how easy it is to do.

Great looking dogs! I have 2 10 year old dogs and they don’t always want to eat their boring dog food so I’m always adding natural things like chicken & births to intise them.

Its important to take care of our fur babies.
Rachel says
Thanks for the info. I will have to look into these.

I don’t feed her raw food and she has a sensitive stomach. I would have to be careful adding this to her food if I did.
Susan Bewley says
Raw is something I only trust from certain companies since it can be a bit scary. Usually with a sensitive tummy you have to transition very very slowly.

Even though you advise us of the facts that their food is made with all natural ingredients for optimal nutrient absorption, including nutritious oils for healthy skin and coat, and, of course, pure animal protein for leaner muscles and stronger bones, we have found that ANY change in our Golden’s food causes her to have stomach problems..we give her the same dried food and no treats
Susan Bewley says
We understand exactly. We can’t change Ivi’s diet much at all due to her sensitive tummy.
Tamra Phelps says
It makes me wish we still had our dog! (He passed away years back & we haven’t had one since because we moved & now we rent instead of own where we live.) Those are beautiful dogs, too.

My very first job after getting my degree in Food Science was in a lab in a pet food factory. Having seen what goes into the cans I’d never feed my pets on processed food!
