Make Busy Tails Wag with #PinnacleHealthyPets

September 24, 2015 by Susan Bewley

This post is sponsored by Pinnacle and the BlogPaws Professional Pet Blogger Network. I am being compensated for helping raise awareness about Pinnacle’s Newly Formulated Grain Free Dog Food, but Budget Earth only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. Are you and your family celebrating fall? In our household, fall is a time of celebration since the temperatures are finally cooling down enough in the Ohio Valley that all of us want to spend more time outdoors. Don’t get me wrong, Reya loves going outdoors, but she isn’t a big fan of high heat and takes care of her business rather quickly if it is over 80 degrees outside. Now that things are pretty, she is bouncing outside with Ivi and we are once again going to our favorite local parks to play on the wood trails and go on fun adventures! While Reya loves it, it also makes it even more important that we have her on a grain-free food with quality ingredients to help her body keep up with her excitement. Luckily, we recently learn of a new grain-free food, made with limited ingredients that sounded perfect for our Reya – Pinnacle®!

For those who have never heard of the food, Pinnacle is a holistic, grain free dog food that is formulated with our pet’s nutrition in mind. Not only do they focus on pet nutrition, but are proud to use high quality ingredients including:

  • Quinoa
  • Pumpkin
  • Kelp
  • Flax Seed
  • Blueberries
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Cottage Cheese

While Pinnacle has been in business since 1998, they decided in May of 2015 to move all of their foods to being grain free to make them easier for all dogs to digest. As well, their food always focuses on using only natural, healthy recipes filled with high quality proteins and antioxidants to help support a healthy immune system for our dogs. Their food also helps promote general joint health and overall muscle in dogs of all sizes, making sure that big girls like my Reya stay healthy as long as possible. It is also fairly high in fiber to help encourage healthy digestion and smaller stool.

Looking for all natural gluten free dog food made from only quality ingredients? See why we are excited about Pinnacle Holistic Dog Food here! #PinnacleHealthyPets

Best of all, all of their food is made right here in the United States in their California plant. As someone who loves supporting American companies, I am delighted to have a grain free food available to us that I know has been quality tested and designed for my girl’s nutritional needs. Honestly, we can’t wait to try Pinnacle in the coming weeks and see what Reya thinks of this new grain free, limited ingredient food.

Want to try this grain free food made with quality ingredients for yourself? You can find the full selection of Pinnacle food on their website and see if it’s sold at  store near you using their store locator. Make sure to check back in the coming weeks to see what Reya think of Pinnacle Holistic Dog food!

Pinnacle sounds like a great dog food. I have to be really careful about what we feed our dog because of severe skin allergies. The fewest and most natural ingredients are what I look for.

Love the ingredients in this product! So natural and healthy. Makes me wonder why aren’t all pet food made with the same quality ingredients. Thanks for this review and I’ll be sure to look for it at the grocery store or pet store when I’m there next.

i have never tried pinnacle dog food b4, i like that it has blueberries for antioxidants, no grain, like the sweet potatoes, and other ingredients. i am a big fan of no grain dog food. my dog breeder uses low fat cottage cheese when the dogs need to gain some weight.

Reya, you and Wyatt Ray would get along great. He’s a “hot dog” and hates the heat too. Good think Pinnacle makes two fish flavors, those are “cooling” foods according to Chinese nutrition theory and should be really good for your hot-blooded body. Let us know how it goes!

I love the fact that so many companies, like this one are stepping up and trying to really do right by pet health care. We spend so much time attempting to take the best care possible as we can of ourselves. It’s nice to know that we can finally start to do that for our pets as well, starting with something as simple but yet important as their diet.

Hi I hope you are having a good day today! I just wanted to thank you for this post, on behalf of my Sweet dog Lexie too! I have a 15 year old Husky Mix and she weighs 95lbs but she also has Bad Arthritis & Hip Dysplasia (hope I spelled that right!) Well she can’t really get around that well so she obviously can’t get in any exercise to lose the excess weight that the Vet wants her to lose! So right now I think our only option might be in her diet and I have not yet found a food that she will eat, if it’s good for her she seems to snub her nose up at her bowl! Lol! I will ask the vet what kind of Ingredients & Vitamins would be best for Lexie! Thanks for the Post and Have a Blessed Day! Thanks, Jana
