Have you ever been interested in learning about herbal medicine? While we still use modern drugs in our household, I do think some herbal remedies have a time and place. Many of today’s medicine were based off of these old time drugs, some of which haven’t just been used for centuries, but have been shown in a lab setting to be effective. Others were the predecessors of many of the popular drugs we get today. That being said, I would love to learn about many of these herbal recipes, but have always been nervous to try those found on Pinterest. Luckily, I recently found The Essential Guide to Home Herbal Remedies, written by Melanie Wenzel – an expert in classic homeopathy in Germany. When I found out I was going to have an opportunity to read this book, I couldn’t wait to get started!

I believe wholeheartedly that herbal remedies can be as effective (if not more so) than traditional medications. I already take too many pills and love to find solutions that are more nature. I would love to win so I could learn from this book and become naturally healthier.

I would try some of these, I’m a bit of a skeptic. I’ve heard that even with herbal remedies you need to be careful if you take prescription medications.

I am trying to buy natural products, and I love home remedies. When I was a child with Asthma, my doctor believed in natural products. He had me eat 2 Tbsp of honey from a honey comb, natural raw honey. Back then it was really hard to find, but it really helped. I would love to try these, especially when the kids get sick.
