Green Cleaner Review: Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner

As many of you know, I love all natural cleaners. I have been slowly moving to replacing all of the cleaners in our household. Not only do they smell much better, but don't ruin the surface of what you are cleaning.  I have found that bleach can sometimes take the color out of items I have cleaned, making me panic a bit (especially when we are renting).  Why not use cleaners that are great for the environment and your house?  My favorite cleaners are Method products, mostly since the brand's products all smell great and do a wonderful job cleaning! 

Method's All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner

For the past three years, I have been using Method's All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner , using it to clean just about any mess in my house.  It is perfect for cleaning up small messes on the counter, as well as the counters in my bathroom.  This non toxic cleaner is wonderful at cutting grease and dirt, making it ideal for those messes that really don't need an antibacterial cleaner.  As well, this plant based formula is completely natural, using biodegradable ingredients. 

Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner: Effectiveness

Over the past year, they changed their formula to be corn based with cleaning salts, as well as coconut.  I wasn't too sure about the Method brand changing their formula, mostly since I knew this product worked.  It is one of the biggest issues I have seen with natural products – they change their formula to a smaller bottle and it all of a sudden stops working.  I was really worried that Method was going to this when they announced they were changing their formulas.

So far though, it seems to be working even better than the old Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner .  This Method home cleaner does an even better job cutting grease and odd stains caused by food on my counter. I have recently been making green smoothies in my Vitamix, and sometimes I accidentally get this green mess on the counter.  Unlike some of my other cleaners, this cleaner gets it up easily without leaving any odd film or stains on my counter. 

Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner: Scent

If you have ever used any Method home cleaning products before, you likely know that they have the most wonderful scents.  I absolutely love their pink grapefruit and clementine scent!   These scents are absolutely heavenly and leaves your kitchen smelling airy and fresh.  This all purpose cleaner also comes in four other scents – Cucumber, French Lavender, and Ginger Yuzu. I personally have never tried these scents, but I bet they are as wonderful as their other scents!

Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner: Price

One of the things I love so much about Method products is that they are some of the most inexpensive green products on the market.  This all purpose cleaner is very inexpensive, ranging from $3 to 4.50 online.  The cheapest place I have found that has this Method home cleaner is Amazon, who is currently selling it  for $3.99 a bottle.

Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner: Overall

Other than the Method brand's floor cleaner, I have to say that Method's All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner is my favorite cleaner. It has a wonderful scent and is one of the most effective natural cleaners I have ever tried.  I give this cleaner an A rating, since it is works wonderful and leaves my counters looking amazing without that nasty film that comes with some clean products.  If I was to pick three natural cleaners that belong in every household, Method's All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner is one of them!
